For the eighth consecutive year, Grand Travel Awards Sweden has recognized the Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group as the best international hotel group due to our modern hotels and high-quality service.
The Grand Travel Awards are the most prestigious awards within the Swedish travel industry. Each year, they pay tribute to the most outstanding companies, and the winners are voted for by employees from travel agencies and travel industry suppliers.
This is the eighth consecutive year Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group has been awarded the accolade of Best International Hotel Group in Sweden. We also won the same award in Norway just a couple of months ago.
“We are extremely proud of this prestigious recognition, and it is all thanks to the remarkable efforts of our team members," said Sam Holmberg, District Director Sweden of the Rezidor Hotel Group. "We have one common goal, and that is to create memorable moments for our guests. This award is proof that our teams provide an outstanding quality of service and superior hotel experiences."
Carlson Rezidor is the leading international hotel group in the Nordics and an element that helps us to stay there is the ongoing renovation and modernization of our hotels in the region.
Among our newly renovated properties in Sweden are the Radisson Blu Strand Hotel, Stockholm (newly renovated by the acclaimed designers Wingårdhs) and the Radisson Blu Scandinavia Hotel, Gothenburg (which will be finalizing their complete renovation in the days to come).
“We aim to maintain our position as the leading international hotel group in the Nordics and continue to give our guests stunning properties, delicious food and world-class service,” added Sam. "Rezidor is collaborating with, among others, Wingårdhs and DOOS Architects to implement its most comprehensive renovation and refurbishment program ever in the Nordic region."
Our plans for the redevelopment of our hotels in the Nordics region will hopefully see us win even more awards in the future.
Please join me in congratulating all of the hotel teams in Sweden for this year's amazing achievement.
